Made from a low cost, kraft wood pulp material, buff brown in colour, presspahn washers have both excellent physical and mechanical properties.

All washers manufactured on our site in Birmingham are made from grade K presspahn.

Applications for presspahn washers

Predominantly used for insulating in appliances such as motors, oil filled transformers and battery operated appliances our presspahn washers are a robust and cost effective solution to your application. Furthermore, a self adhesive-backing can be added to any presspahn washer to aid in third hand fixing.

At RH Nuttall Limited we supply presspahn washers from small one of batches to multi thousand runs and can normally accommodate any internal diameter, outer diameter and thickness required with the extensive range of tooling at our disposal. Presspahn washers are supplied in a buff brown colour, but can be stained to accommodate certain applications.

Thickness of presspahn washers available

Thicknesses of our presspahn washers can be from 0.25mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and right up to 3mm, but this normally depends on our stock of base material at any given time as well as the choice of presspahn you require your washers to be made from.

Standard Presspahn Washers

Certain standard tooling for our presspahn washers is also readily available for parts to be cut and despatched within a rapid lead time.

We currently manufacture presspahn washers from M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8, M10, M12, M15, M16, M20, M25, M30, M32, M40, M50, M63, M75 right up to and including M100.
