RH Nuttall Limited manufacture and supply sponge gaskets and sponge pads to any given specification. Sponge gaskets differ from solid rubber in that the material used is a blown variant of solid rubber, making it a lighter and more compressible material.
Gaskets of any kind have a tough job, and sponge contains the necessary properties that make it an inherently great material for sealing joins, given its flexibility, water-proofing and pliable nature.
There are many different types of sponge available, including both open cell sponge gaskets as well as closed cell sponge gaskets. At RH Nuttall, we have the full range, enabling our customers to always find the right gasket for the desired application.
More common sponge gaskets are manufactured in either neoprene sponge of EPDM sponge. Both of these material are of the closed cell kind and, as a result, offer excellent solutions for sealing against water and air.

Our Birmingham-based team commonly work on runs that include all neoprene sponge gaskets, EPDM sponge gaskets and polyethylene foam gaskets.
