Neoprene bonded Cork Sheeting – RHN 18
This grade of cork sheeting supplied by RH Nuttall offers a compound mixture of both neoprene rubber and cork. Having a mixture of neoprene rubber within the product allows the cork to perform better when in contact with certain fuels, oils and solvents. Neoprene is a good choice to have mixed into the cork structure when an application involves sealing against water and the atmosphere.
Flexible, yet durable in nature, our neoprene bonded cork material is mottled in appearance due to the black neoprene rubber being added.
Most standard thicknesses are held in stock for immediate despatch including 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 6mm. Our cork sheeting is supplied 1000mm wide from master cork roll but can be cut in house to any given size of sheet, or pad shape required. Other non-standard sheeting thickness are also readily available and include 0.8mm through to 25mm, however might be subject to minimum order quantity.
Is neoprene cork sheeting the right choice for your application?
Our range of neoprene cork sheets are readily available from stock for immediate despatch. This variant of cork sheet is widely used in applications such as transformers, and oil sumps.
If temperature is an important aspect within the sealing process, neoprene bonded cork has a very reasonable temperature range of -20c to +120c. Our neoprene bonded cork sheeting has been tested up to 100 degrees centigrade and displays no visual cracking or deformation under these constraints.
Combining neoprene rubber into the cork mixture, enables this variant of cork sheet to be suitable in applications externally, providing resistance against weathering and water sealing alike. The neoprene also adds flexibility into the sheeting making it not only an economical method of sealing, but a durable one too.

Our range of resin bonded cork sheets are readily available from stock for immediate despatch. This variant of cork sheet is widely used in applications such as gap filling in buildings or contraction is apparent. Resin bonded cork creates expansion joint sealing within brick work or concrete construction. Although having the capacity to compress to approximately 50%, resin bonded cork also allows for over 80% recovery rate when released, making it an ideal a solution to contracting and expanding joint sealing applications.
