RH Nuttall Limited manufacturers a wide range of nitrile gaskets. Nitrile (NBR) gaskets can be supplied in any shape from simple round or square designs to a nitrile gasket with numerous holes and slots cut out of it in a bespoke design. Nitrile gaskets are used mainly where contact and sealing with oils and fuels is necessary. Coupled with these attributes comes its excellent temperature range of -40c to +120c (dependent on grade) which again lends itself to the automotive trade where sealing against extreme constraints is essential.
At temperatures up to 100c, or with special compounding up to 120c, nitrile rubber gaskets provide an economic solution to sealing, having a high resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbon oils and fuels. Please note that different grades of nitrile gaskets are available from RH Nuttall Limited, but generally the higher the acrylonitrile (ACN) content, the greater the resistance to oil but the poorer is the low temperature flexibility. Our nitrile gaskets have a high resilience and excellent durability score, but only average strength.
