Foam washers are either made from a closed cell structure, or open cell structure depending on the application and level of seal required.

WRAS approved and Class O foam washers

Certain grades of foam washers can be supplied WRAS approved or with flame retardant qualities. Class O foam washers are also readily available and meet the current building regulation standards.

Furthermore, many of the grades of foam washers have excellent UV and ozone characteristics making them suitable for external use. Thicknesses of foam washers can be manufactured from 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm and right up to 100mm.

Foam washers are custom made in a spectrum of colours including black, white, grey and blue and can even be supplied colour matched to your design depending on the volume required.

 Applications for foam washers

Foam washers have many uses including for thermal insulation, dust seals, water seals, cushioning, floats, general seals and spacers as well as packing purposes for shock absorbing.

Foam washers can be made from many different base materials. A base material suitability test can be carried out by one of our sales team, and chosen to suit your application.

Self-adhesive foam washers

All of the above grades of foam can have a self-adhesive backing applied and can also be supplied in kiss cut format to aid in speed on production line assembly.
