Flame Effect Gasket Strips

To make our flame effect ribbons for UK fireplaces, gasket strips are cut in a variety of designs dependent on the shape and colour of the flame effect required. These are then assembled into a metal framework by the customer, given the aesthetic housing which makes each fireplace design unique.

A fan is then blown beneath the gasket strips forcing them upwards and making them dance on the breeze. This creates the desired flame effect, which RH Nuttall Ltd can further refine using different lengths and densities of flame effect ribbon – or cut gasket strips.
Manufacturers can then add slots or slits to the parts to aid in fixing and in the distribution of airflow. Different densities can be used in order to enhance the effect even further, as can different strengths of airflow and the colour of the flames chosen.
