At RH Nuttall, we take pride in producing high-quality strip products with industry-leading turnaround times. Our in-house slitting machines efficiently process a wide range of base materials, including sponge, foam, rubber, cork, and solid rubber strips.
Our machines accommodate strip widths from 4mm to 1400mm, thanks to a solid metal rotary mandrel that spans the width of the machine. Individual spacing washers and cutting blades are inserted at the required width, secured, and driven by a foot pedal-operated rotary bar. Strips are produced in multiples of 10 spacing sections, ensuring high precision and efficiency. Once cut, the strips are disgorged onto a custom-built cutting table, with rewind options available for further processing.
With three advanced slitting machines in operation, we produce over 100,000 meters of foam and rubber strips each week, solidifying our position as an industry leader. Every product undergoes rigorous quality testing during production and before dispatch, ensuring consistency and reliability.
We maintain a vast stock of base materials, allowing for rapid turnaround times, with most cut strips ready for dispatch within 48 hours. Strips can be supplied plain or with self-adhesive backing, including double-sided adhesive options for specific applications.
While custom lengths are available, the majority of our strips are supplied in 5m or 10m coils, with common materials including neoprene sponge, solid rubber, and felt strips. Whether you require a small 10m batch or a large-scale 10,000m order, our slitting machines and expert technicians can handle any request.
For thicker strips that cannot be rolled, we provide master bun lengths of 2m, ensuring suitability for all applications.
