Thicknesses of our Neoprene sponge gaskets can be from 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and right up to 50mm in thickness, but this normally depends on our stock of base material at any given time, as well as the density and grade of neoprene sponge required.

Applications for Neoprene Sponge Gaskets

Neoprene sponge is a very universal base material product. It is widely recognised throughout the automotive, electronic, glazing and construction trades. A relatively cheap base material, neoprene sponge is deemed a good choice for applications including oil, petrol and chemical sealing as well as offering resistance to UV and ozone on external situations.

Our standard range of Neoprene sponge gaskets are supplied in a medium density grade. Other grades of neoprene sponge gaskets as well as softer grades are also readily available depending on the application.

Firm grade Neoprene sponge gaskets are supplied mainly when two heavy surfaces are clamping down onto the gaskets, but only little compression is required to seal.
