Fully digitised and capable of accommodating all grades, our Novus Gaskets comprise of a top grade compressed fibre substance which is reinforced with carbon for added toughness.

Self-Adhesive Backing Option

All orders of Novus Gaskets from our Birmingham based manufacturing business come with the option of an additional self-adhesive backing. This helps to secure the gaskets in place, adding to the efficacy of the seal in question.
We use a wash primer prior to attaching the self-adhesive backing. This allows us to apply the tape smoothly and evenly. It also forms an important barrier between the surface of the Novus fibres and the rubber seal.

Thicknesses of Novus Gaskets

RH Nuttall Limited provide a whole range of grades of novus gaskets to suit every requirement of sealing.
We offer a variety of gauges and thicknesses of Novus Gaskets, with common thicknesses including 0.25 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.75 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, and 3 mm. We can create thicknesses outside of this range if you would like a bespoke Novus gasket suited to your task.

Density

Novus Gaskets have a density of between 1.57 and 2.00 g/cc. This changes from Novus 30 through to Novus 46 gaskets and beyond. The exact composition of synthetic and natural fibres may change depending on the grade, thickness, and size of the gasket required.
