What is Jiffy Foam?

Jiffy Foam is a type of polyethylene foam which is specifically made by the Jiffycel® brand. This is a closed cell foam, meaning that it is non-porous and does not absorb water. This material may be known by the name PE or LDPE foam. To make it, manufacturers mix air into a thermoplastic, which rises into the foam state.

This material has multifunctional uses in the modern world. It plays a large role in packaging but can be found in abundance in the window fitting industry, in the floristry sector, and even in the catering industry.

Jiffycel® for Packaging Purposes

Due to the range of densities and relative low cost, Jiffycel® foam is generally used for packaging purposes. It is predominantly used by RH Nuttall Limited for high grade electronic packaging in forms of strips or gaskets.

Jiffy foam is a non-abrasive, soft, cushioning foam, which can provide your goods with extra protection during transit. If you sell breakable goods then Jiffy rolls are a must-have product for preserving your goods and preventing costly wastage.
