RH Nuttall are a leading supplier and manufacturer of all grades and thicknesses of neoprene gaskets. Our neoprene rubber gaskets are made from a range of solid grades depending on your application. Our neoprene gaskets come in an array of thicknesses from 0.8mm right up to 25mm thick. Die cut to your desired configuration, our in-house cutting facilities supply both small and large volume runs. Bespoke items are often created from economical tooling made in-house.
From simple square or rectangular shapes, to more detailed neoprene gaskets with slots, bolt holes or notches, we manufacture to your requirements and in conjunction with our high certified quality standards.
Why use neoprene gaskets?
Neoprene rubber gaskets are used for a whole host of applications. Being strong and resilient in nature, but possessing enough flexibility to compress slightly upon load, neoprene gaskets are used as seals in sectors such as construction, automotive, lighting, plumbing and aerospace.
In addition to the above qualities, neoprene rubber gaskets have excellent resistance to ozone, aging and sea water, meaning that under normal working conditions, the longevity of the seal is preserved.
Furthermore, depending on the amount of pressure required to create a seal, our neoprene rubber gaskets come in an array of different hardness including 40sh, 50sh, 60sh, 70sh, and 80sh, with the latter being the most hard.
Our neoprene rubber gaskets are supplied in black only.
Self-adhesive neoprene gaskets
At RH Nuttall we produce both neoprene gaskets plain and self-adhesive backed. The advantage of having a self-adhesive backing applied to your gasket is that it acts as a third hand fixing, allowing the seal to remain in place even if movement occurs. Three choices of self adhesive are available, including low, medium and high tack variants. Please ask a member of our sales team for more information.
Thicknesses of neoprene gaskets
Neoprene rubber base material is stocked in high volume meaning that you won’t have to compromise your application with something that another gasket supplier has in stock.
The full range of thicknesses we stock can be found below:
All of the above are stocked in a commercial neoprene rubber grade at standard shore hardness.
Grades of neoprene rubber gaskets
At RH Nuttall we supply our neoprene gaskets from differing grades of neoprene depending on the environment and constraints put on the seal. General commercial grades of neoprene rubber are used in addition to British Standard grades of BS2752 variants (c40, c50, c60). Please feel free to speak to a member of our sales team for further information on the grade you require.
