Hypalon Rubber

Hypalon rubber is a chlorosulphonated polyethylene synthetic rubber and is generally used by RH Nuttall for roofing and weathering applications. RH Nuttall Limited produce washers, gaskets, seals, strips and sheet from hypalon rubber for a variety of different industrial sectors.

  • Very good resistance to most chemicals and oils at both high and low temperatures.

  • Good resistance to weathering, oxidation, sunlight and ozone.

  • Good dielectric properties and abrasion resistance.

  • Not suitable for application requiring resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons and ketones.
