PTFE washers - PTFE gaskets. PTFE is a synthetic fluropolymer which lends itself to a vast array of applications. PTFE, also known as Teflon, is a white solid at room temperature, with a density of around 2.2g/cm³, and a melting point of 327°C. It displays working temperatures ranging from -200°C to +260°C. It is used in PTFE washers, PTFE strip or PTFE gasket forms across a broad spectrum of industries including construction, automotive, food and electrical. Adhesive backing can be applied to one or both faces of any PTFE washer or PTFE gasket if needed.
